This has probably been discussed before but here goes.

Why is it that some of the published DP's aren't in the data base? Such as
the south fla. area. FLL, FXE and HWO don't have any dp's in the data base.
Mia has 2 but there are several more for the area.

I think the answer is that vector DP's (i.e. ones with "expect vectors to
departure fix") aren't in the database. Does that jive with what you're
seeing?

Not all DPs can be translated into navigable waypoints.

The DPs that cover the southerly runways at Teterboro (KTEB), New Jersey,
immediately come to mind.
